Alfred’s story starts in June 1945 as a young army captain liberating allied prisoners of war from the horrors of a Japanese prison camp in Borneo.
Living with these harrowing memories for twenty years, Alfred is half-hearted about traveling to New Zealand on a new cruise liner to celebrate twenty years since the atom bomb was dropped on Japan.
As fate would have it, the new liner becomes wrecked by a freak tsunami resulting in Alfred and two of the ship’s crew being washed up on a deserted island in the South Pacific. One of the crew being Avril the attractive ship’s purser, Alfred is cautious about forming any kind of relationship. She has other ideas, and the other crew member does not help the situation. With hardly any water or food and no rescue in sight, Alfred has to take the lead in their survival.
While searching for water, evidence of slave trafficking on the island becomes apparent. Reverting back to his army training and becoming obsessed in bringing these cruel pirates to justice, Alfred discovers a former Japanese enemy is behind the child trafficking. Now more determined, Alfred and his small female crew manage to infiltrate, rescue and carry out the ultimate revenge.
