Twists and Turns brings a young iconoclast at loggerheads with established traditions in Idoma land in the course of which he is considered an eccentric. This novel is an exposé on some cultural practices of the Idoma people of Benue State, Nigeria, microcosmic of many other African tribes. The storyline weaves its tapestry around topical issues of women’s liberty, love, jealousy, polygamy and parental irresponsibility.
